We are monitoring and following state and national guidelines closely, as well as the CDC and WHO regarding Covid-19 information and protocols.
Wyeast continues to maintain the strictest Good Manufacturing Practices and Health & Safety Measures to provide a safe workspace for our employees. Resources and information on Covid-19 have been made available, and everyone is strongly encouraged to adhere closely to all personal safety measures. We are setting up our team to work remotely where possible, and have offered to hold employees positions until they are able to return to work should they decide that staying home is the safest option for them and their family.
Additionally, Wyeast made the decision on March 2nd to cancel all work-related travel for conferences and trade shows for the remainder of 2020. Before national restrictions and guidelines were set in place, we felt that this was the safest decision for our employees, our families, and our community. We hope that our customers will be understanding and supportive of this decision.
Wyeast is still actively supporting the craft beverage industry, but will not be “there” in person this year. We are committed to supporting our community and yours and understand the value of being there for your business operations if you are able to remain open. You can count on us to continue providing Premium Liquid Yeast at the same standards you have come to expect. We will remain in touch with you should anything arise that prevents us from doing so.
